a little about me
I’m a queer actor/creator born and raised in Queens, New York City. Coming from a family of Puerto Rican and German Jewish immigrants who have resided in NYC for nearly 100 years, I was raised to value my community and my voice. Inspired by art at a super young age I loved Ugly Betty, In the Heights, and Spring Awakening. I understood very early on that storytelling that showcases voices and stories that are not commonly given a platform in the mainstream was something that invigorated my soul and brought people together. This led me to study at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, and receive my BFA in Acting at Syracuse University. I truly do believe that we tell ourselves stories in order to survive. I’m eager to spend my life investigating the ways that art brings communities together, and inspires people to engage in the truth of the world around them. I’m currently passionate about telling queer stories, stories that focus on survivors of sexual violence, stories that destigmatize mental health, and Latine stories.
